The project included construction of a 1,000-bed,
medium security state prison for treatment of substance abuse.
The prison was comprised of four housing buildings, each with
36 pre-cast cell modules. Concrete buildings were constructed
for dining, laundry, medical, vocational, recreational and
administrative functions.
Bill Harbert International Construction, Inc. (BHIC) was the
contractor of record for the project. In January 2000 all employees
of BHIC became employees of B.L. Harbert International (BLHI).
The management and supervisory teams now employed by BLHI constructed
the project.
