The
National Children's Advocacy Center project consisted of
renovating approximately 12,560
square feet in a 1920s building, and the construction of
three new office buildings totaling 31,920 square feet.
The existing building was constructed in 1920 and was previously
used as a gymnasium. The existing site was redeveloped to create
a four-building campus for staff and services.
The Arts and Crafts period architecture is featured on the
exterior of all of the buildings, which complements the functionality
of the campus. The columns on each building are little wooden
people; the same theme is carried throughout the interior of
each building.
To create a cheerful, playful, yet functional atmosphere, the
interior finishes are very colorful and durable.
