The New Delhi project consisted
of designing, constructing and renovating the 9,175 square-meter
West Office Building and the 11,208 square-meter Chancery Office
Building. The West Office Building project included design
and construction of a complete renovation of the second floor.
A Public Access Control was designed and constructed on the
ground floor along with mechanical work in the basement.
The project included architectural, mechanical and electrical
upgrades to provide office space for the United States Agency
for International Development.
Bill Harbert International Construction, Inc. (BHIC) was the
contractor of record for the project. In January 2000 all employees
of BHIC became employees of B.L. Harbert International (BLHI).
The management and supervisory teams now employed by BLHI constructed
the project.
