The Palacio at Perdido has 103 exclusive
residences located on the secluded beachfront-area of Perdido
Key, Florida, providing unobstructed views of the white-sand
beach and the Gulf of Mexico.
The building has a poured-in-place concrete frame on deep auger
cast foundations. There are three illuminated space frame roof
structures (40’x40’) each weighing 8 tons and resembling
the pinnacles of a palace.
A unique Porte Cochere incorporates the space frame structure,
similar to the rooftop elements. There is covered parking beneath
the building.
Other amenities include an oversized, heated swimming pool
and brick paver pool deck with a custom waterfall feature.
There are two lighted tennis courts with a cabana and private
parking. There is a custom granite counter reception desk and
lobby finishes, including a monumental staircase.
The luxurious condominium features a large social facility
with kitchen amenities overlooking the pool and the Gulf of
Mexico.
Bill Harbert International Construction, Inc. (BHIC) was the
contractor of record for the project. In January 2000 all employees
of BHIC became employees of B.L. Harbert International (BLHI).
The management and supervisory teams now employed by BLHI constructed
the project.
