The Perdido Place is a luxury condominium
located on the Gulf of Mexico. The entrance features an oversized
Porte Cochere to provide covered access to the entrance and
lobby.
There are four units per floor, with enclosed heated and cooled
corridors, and elevator lobbies at each level.
Standard amenities include granite countertops, cultured marble
vanities, double bowl cast iron kitchen sinks, oversized garden
tubs in the master suites, European-style raised panel cabinets,
9-foot ceilings, crown molding throughout and tile flooring
in bathroom, kitchens, foyers, laundry, HVAC closets and terraces.
The building’s frame is a poured-in-place concrete frame
on deep auger cast foundations. There are three levels of covered
parking.
There is an exercise room and sauna—as well as a pool
and beachfront views. To enhance the view, floor-to-ceiling
sliding glass doors provide access to large gulf-front wraparound
terraces.
Bill Harbert International Construction, Inc. (BHIC) was the
contractor of record for the project. In January 2000 all employees
of BHIC became employees of B.L. Harbert International (BLHI).
The management and supervisory teams now employed by BLHI constructed
the project.
