SouthTrust Bank and Gresham,
Smith & Partners
developed four levels of the Prototype for different geographical
locations. SouthTrust Trace Crossings Branch Bank was the first
Prototype in the series. It is top of the line and serves as
a model for the remaining branches.
The 6,000 square foot building consists of brick, castone,
and EIFS veneers with a standing seam metal roof. The building
is positioned on the site so that it towers grandly above the
adjacent properties. The property includes a 12 foot high and
240 foot long retaining wall and an extensive amount of landscaping.
