The
project consisted of three buildings totaling 115,000 gross
square feet on a fifteen-acre site. The buildings
will be the headquarters of five battalions of the 4th Psychological
Operations Group.
The main, or Battalion Headquarters building, is divided into
five pods and contains administrative, clerical, conference
and classroom space for each of the battalions.
All of the pods in the Battalion Headquarters building are
linked by a main corridor that spans the entire 430-foot length
of the building. The corridor is approximately 33 feet tall
at its highest point, and is pierced by two levels of steel
framing.
The two Company Headquarter buildings house the office, operations,
and equipment storage areas for the enlisted personnel in each
of the five battalions. The site features a 1,300-foot long
modular retaining wall system that rises to over 13 feet high.
