Spain Park High School features two main buildings.

Building “A” is the main classroom building with 200,000 square feet. It is a concrete and masonry structure with a façade of the classical red brick of school buildings constructed in the 1920s.

Building “B” is a 162,000 square foot steel and masonry structure housing
the cafeteria, arts and athletic departments. The building’s façade is also
the classical red brick.

The athletics facilities are extensive and include two baseball fields with press box, two softball fields with press box, one soccer field, three football fields, one band practice field and a full assortment of track and field arenas.

The school has over 100 classrooms. Features include physics, chemistry and photography laboratories; television and radio broadcasting center; computerized driver simulation center; recessed competition basketball gym and ground-level physical education gym with two additional basketball courts; wrestling arena; two weight conditioning rooms; three interior band practice rooms; 550-seat theatrical center, scene shop and practice stage; open courtyard and amphitheater and a $750,000 kitchen facility.

Bill Harbert International Construction, Inc. (BHIC) was the contractor of record for the project. In January 2000 all employees of BHIC became employees of B.L. Harbert International (BLHI). The management and supervisory teams now employed by BLHI constructed the project.
