The renovations included:
•
Installation of a state-of-the-art fire detection system, including
an alarm system securing over 280,000 square feet,
• Completion of new fire
sprinklers to over 280,000 square feet of the existing Volker Hall.
The Tower addition and renovations included:
• 70,000
square feet of new enclosed area for classrooms and faculty
offices,
• Interior renovations
of 7,200 square feet.
The entire project was accomplished without disruption to the
existing animal research area, current class schedules or faculty
operations.
