The
31,000 square foot, one-story Weapons Battalion Mess Hall
has a brick veneer exterior with
a simulated slate shingle roof. The project included kitchen
equipment selection, shop drawing preparation, utility installation
and equipment installation. The project was executed by the
Design/Build procurement method for the U S. Navy.
Bill Harbert International Construction, Inc. (BHIC) was the
contractor of record
for the project. In January 2000 all employees
of BHIC became employees of
B.L. Harbert International (BLHI).
The management and supervisory teams now employed by BLHI constructed
the project.
