BL Harbert Celebrates National Construction Safety Week

B.L. Harbert International, LLC (BLHI) kicked-off Safety Week 2019 — a national, industry-wide effort to promote safety best practices and raise awareness of the importance of an uncompromising commitment to safety in the construction industry — on Monday.

More than 80 construction firms across the U.S. and Canada have joined forces for the annual Safety Week. Centered around the theme, “Safe by Choice,” BL Harbert is observing Safety Week with events and activities at its offices and jobsites across the country including Toolbox Talks, Training and Safety Audits.

“Our 8,000 employees are the foundation of our success, and sending them home safely every night is our top priority. Being safe every day, on every jobsite crosses competitive boundaries, which is why we’re proud to join over 80 organizations in celebrating Safety Week 2019,” said Billy Harbert, BLHI Chairman and CEO. “When we work together, our entire industry becomes safer and stronger.”

Safety is the cornerstone of the BL Harbert culture. We strive to build safety into every activity, every day, everywhere,” added Frank Wampol, BLHI Vice President, Safety and Health. “2018 was a banner year for BL Harbert when it comes to staying safe. We hope to repeat that same success in 2019, and Safety Week is a chance to celebrate our workers’ ongoing commitment to safety, and renew our commitment to continuously improve our safety culture and send each employee home safe every day.”
