BL Harbert International to Observe Women in Construction Week 2018
This week, we are teaming up with the National Association of Women in Construction to celebrate and observe Women in Construction Week.
The focus of Women in Construction (WIC) Week is to highlight women as a visible component of the construction industry. WIC Week also provides an occasion for NAWIC’s thousands of members across the country to raise awareness of the opportunities available for women in the construction industry and to emphasize the growing role of women in the industry. It is also a time for local chapters to give back to their communities.
Throughout the week, we will be showcasing and celebrating BL Harbert’s women in construction across the globe. We are hosting events and fostering communication that enables and commends women for their role in construction. On Thursday, March 8, we will observe International Women’s Day. International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. #IWD2018
