Watercrest Senior Living Group alongside partners, BL Harbert International, D2 Architecture and IDA are scheduled to host a ceremonial groundbreaking for the Watercrest Assisted Living and Memory Care Community in Newnan on Thursday, March 29 at 10AM.
The event will be located at 285 Summerlin Boulevard, Newnan, Georgia, 30265.
The 92,000-square-foot, luxury, senior-living community, features resort-style service, extraordinary care and luxurious residences. The 107-unit facility includes single-story and three-story buildings, containing 75 assisted living and 32 memory care residences.
“BL Harbert is proud to play a role in the success of the Watercrest Senior Living Group,” said Dan Price, Vice President of BL Harbert International. “It is of the utmost importance that we assist in the health and well-being of older generations. This facility will not only include a luxurious way of life, but also great care for generations to come.”
Watercrest Newnan is a signature Watercrest product offering premium accommodations and innovative design. Upon completion, Watercrest Newnan will include a stunning promenade, pool, fireplace, signature water wall, multiple dining venues and children’s play space. It will also feature Watercrest’s uniquely designed Market Street ‘outdoor’ streetscape with salon and spa, barber shop, post office, and newsstand, a highlight and crucial element of their multi-sensory memory care programming.
“During our preconstruction phase, the team at BL Harbert International showed true passion for this project and alignment with our company culture, instilling great confidence in their team to construct Watercrest Newnan,” says Jeremy Cairns, VP of Construction for Watercrest Senior Living Group.
Watercrest Senior Living Group of Vero Beach, Florida, will serve as developer, construction manager and operator of the project.
With multiple senior living projects in development throughout the southeast, Watercrest principals, Marc Vorkapich, CEO and Joan Williams, CFO, are setting new standards of quality for seniors and their families in the development of upscale, senior living communities.
“As Watercrest expands into multiple markets throughout the southeast, it is imperative that we align ourselves with partners, such as BL Harbert, who not only demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the market, but value relationships and go ‘beyond building’ to make a significant impact in our communities,” says Vorkapich.
BL Harbert International will lead the construction on the development. Construction has already begun and is slated for completion by late spring 2019.
