BL Harbert Selected to Design/Build New U.S. Embassy in Zimbabwe
BL Harbert International has been selected by the U.S. Department of State’s Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) to provide design-build services for the new U.S. Embassy in Harare, Zimbabwe.
Located on a 16.5-acre site in the Bluff Hill Township area, the project will provide an office building and associated support facilities.
“BL Harbert International is pleased to have been awarded the contract for the new U.S. Embassy in Harare, Zimbabwe, and our organization looks forward to working again with the U.S. Department of State to design and construct another important diplomatic facility,” stated Mike Veal, Senior Vice President of BL Harbert’s International Group.
The design architect is AECOM of Washington, D.C., PAGE of Washington, D.C. will be the architect of record.
