Anniston Federal Courthouse

Anniston, Alabama

Design-build construction of a 63,000-square-foot federal courthouse.

The new courthouse will serve as home to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama and the Bankruptcy Court of Northern Alabama. It also provides workspace for the U.S. Marshals Service and the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

The reinforced masonry volumes are clad with stacked limestone and brick veneer providing a secure facility that meets ATFP requirements for blast resistance while respecting the existing 1920s era federal courthouse and surrounding historical district.

Upon completion, the new federal courthouse will be seeking LEED Gold and SITES Silver certification.
