First constructed in the 1970s, the Legacy Arena renovations bring the facility up to date with approximately 66,000 square feet of new additions and 300,000 square feet of renovations to the existing arena.

The construction scope included enhancements to improve the fan experience, circulation to and within the space, and modernization aimed at the amenities and interactions today’s fans and customers expect including new seats, updated aesthetics, and a rework of food and beverage vendors. The arena also boasts updated loading docks that help meet the demands for major tours and further strengthen the BJCC’s commercial operations. A new grand entrance fronts the 9th Avenue and 19th Street North intersection.
